Whether you’re a student or a new graduate, IPEX is not only committed to helping you get a start in the industry, but will also provide you with extensive training and on-the-job experience you need to take your career to new heights-whether you’re looking to specialize in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain management, joint research and development, or marketing.
New Graduate Development Program (NGDP)
The IPEX New Graduate Development Program (NGDP) is a 36-month rotational program designed for recent post-secondary institution undergraduates, specifically those who have graduated within the past two years. Program participants will move through a series of placements and work within different areas of the organization over the course of three 12-month rotations.
NGDP participants will be introduced to a variety of departments, including the foundation of our business, Manufacturing. Rotations may involve placements in Operations; Engineering; Health, Safety and Environment (HSE); Marketing; Sales; Innovation; Supply Chain; Finance; HR and IT.
Depending on your degree of study and areas of interest, graduates can choose to rotate through one or more NGDP development streams:
Manufacturing Stream
Involves process optimization in fabrication, injection molding, and extrusion working environments (i.e. Mechanical and Industrial Engineering).
Technical Stream
Involves mastering engineering fundamentals, hands-on problem-solving, and knowledge of specific technologies (i.e. Civil, Chemical and Data Science).
Business Stream
Involves general management disciplines (i.e. Finance, Human Resources, Marketing).
The NGDP helps us nurture and launch the careers of new talent while planning for the future by building cross-functional expertise from within. At its core, the program offers candidates hands-on experience through exposure to different departments, mentorship from industry leaders, and opportunities for professional growth and development – thus preparing them for a long and successful career at IPEX.
